Sportif was built on a simple belief — that the best results come from great coaching, real consistency, and a community that's genuinely in your corner.
Founded by Jessica Cross, what started as a small outdoor training service at Rawson Oval has grown into one of Mosman's most loved boutique studios. Jess brings 14 years of coaching experience and a lifetime in competitive sport — a two-time Australian Olympic Trials swimmer, NSW State Champion, and recipient of the NSW Pierre De Coubertin Olympic Award, she is still competing at world level today while running Sportif and raising a family. She built this studio from lived experience, not a textbook.
Sportif is for busy professionals and parents who want real results without sacrificing everything else to get them. Small groups of no more than 12. Coaches who know you. An in-studio physiotherapist when you need more than training. And a 45-minute movement assessment before you even start — because good coaching begins with understanding how you move.

THE SPORTIF DIFFERENCE
What started as outdoor training at Rawson Oval, has grown into one of Mosman’s favourite studios. While we’ve changed throughout the years, our goal has always been the same – to help members build functional health and fitness in a positive community environment.
Most studios offer a program. We offer something harder to find — coaches who genuinely know you, sessions built around your life, and a community that makes showing up the easy part.
① Classes capped at 12 Not 20, not 30. Twelve. Every session is small enough for your coach to notice your form, adjust your load, and push you at the right moment. You'll never be just another face in the room.
② We assess before we train Your first session is a free 45-minute movement screening. We look at how your body moves, where your strengths and limitations are, and what training approach will actually work for you. No guesswork. No generic programs.
③ An in-studio physiotherapist Ben Evans, our Cardiff University-qualified physio, works alongside your trainer so that injury or muscle tension never has to mean stopping. Remedial massage, dry needling, cupping, kinesiology taping — all under one roof.
④ Founded by an elite athlete who gets real life Jess trialled for the Australian Olympic Games in swimming — and still competes at world level today, while running Sportif and raising a family. She built this studio because she understands exactly what it takes to stay strong when life doesn't slow down.

At Sportif Personal Training, our sessions are designed to suit all fitness levels. Our Small Group Classes are capped at 12.
Primal sessions focus on building muscle power, and measured progression and guidance.
Conditioning sessions improve cardiovascular fitness, stamina, and overall work capacity.
TRX & Hybrid Sessions blend strength and conditioning for a well-rounded, results-driven workout. Train with confidence in a supportive, expert-led environment where your progress is the priority.
